About me
Mr. Petrowski has been a Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Specialist at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) since 2016 and has over 15 years’ experience championing HPI endeavors in Department of Energy and Commercial Nuclear Power settings.Mike works closely with management and staff, as well as numerous HPI Practitioners, to integrate human performance principles and practice into everyday life. Located in northern New Mexico, LANL is a multidisciplinary research institution with over 17,000-person workforce engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. He facilitates HPI and Learning Team training and workshops for LANL, and is a Lead Observer (facilitator) in the Battelle multi-lab Laboratory Operations Supervisor Academy (LOSA); a two-day leadership immersion program. Mike is the Co-Chair of the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) HPI Community of Practice. Similar to Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and its member utilities, the EFCOG HPI Community of Practice shares HPI best practices and collaborates on initiatives of interest to both the DOE and the Labs contracted partners.
