About me
Stew is a longtime FIT Human Performance Consultant with a strong background in Nuclear Power. He served 6 years in the Navy before working at the South Texas Nuclear Project for 5 years. During his time at South Texas he served as a Plant Operator. Stew was later promoted to Generation Dispatcher at Reliant Energy, where he was a NERC and ERCOT certified dispatcher. He served as the Y2K coordinator for the city of Houston and was the scheduler of all maintenance and planning of all Reliant Energy generation assets. In addition to his nuclear background Stew served as Chief Financial Officer for Integra Wellness serving in that capacity for 25 years. In this role Stew also improved all general operations company wide. Stew has worked in multiple industries as a HOP consultant, working in the airline industry, auto mobile manufacturing, construction, aerospace engineering and chemical manufacturing. He is known for his engaging approach both in the classroom and in the field. His passion is helping corporations and workers integrate the principles into their day-to-day operations, facilitating teams seeing the big picture and opportunities of HOP for continuous improvement. Stew is based in Austin Texas and works both in North America and internationally sharing his passion for Operational Excellence.
