About me
Sarah Gomez is a Senior Quality Improvement Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence and is honored to support the Children’s Hospitals’ Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) learning health network. Sarah holds a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago Crown School of Social Work, Policy and Practice and spent a decade in the human services field supporting Chicago’s most vulnerable populations, both at the frontline and in leadership roles. Sarah’s social work roots strengthen her systems‑focused approach to quality improvement, informing her work as she collaboratively designs and facilitates patient and employee safety improvement initiatives for over 150 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada. Sarah lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, Jesus, two sons, Nico and Ricky, and their rescue pittie, Rexi.
