About me
Kyle Rove currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, with clinical responsibilities at Children’s Hospital Colorado. His clinical and research efforts focus on Pediatric Urology, Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), and the integration of clinical informatics with surgical quality and safety programs at Children’s Hospital Colorado. He serves as Medical Director for Surgical Quality and Outcomes at Children’s Hospital Colorado and as the hospital’s NSQIP Surgeon Champion. He is a member of the hospital’s Perioperative Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Leadership Council, where he brings a surgeon’s perspective to safety systems, hospital processes, clinical workflows and efficiency, and the intersection of these domains with the electronic health record through his role as Medical Director of Surgical Informatics.
